Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?+
No. You can start a 14-day free trial of MoatScope Pro with full access to all 2,600+ analyzed stocks without entering a credit card. When the trial ends, your account automatically reverts to the free tier (Dow 30) unless you choose to subscribe.
What happens when my free trial ends?+
Your account reverts to the free tier, which includes the Dow 30 stocks, the scatter plot, and full access to the blog and methodology. You can upgrade to Pro or Max at any time.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. You can cancel your subscription from your profile page at any time. You'll keep full access through the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the free tier.
What's the difference between Pro and Max?+
Pro gives you full access to every analyzed stock, every moat rating, every quality score, and every fair value estimate — this is what most users need. Max adds priority email support, early access to new features, and advanced filters & screener export for power users and professionals.
Do you offer refunds?+
We offer a 14-day free trial so you can fully evaluate MoatScope Pro before paying. Because of that, we generally don't issue refunds once you've been billed — but if something has gone wrong, reach out to admin@fourseaslabs.com and we'll make it right.
Can I switch between monthly and annual?+
Yes. You can change your billing interval through the Stripe customer portal, which is accessible from your profile page. Annual plans save you roughly 17% compared to paying monthly.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We use Stripe for secure payment processing, which accepts all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). We don't store any of your card details.
Is my subscription data secure?+
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. MoatScope never sees or stores your card details. Your account data is stored in Supabase with row-level security enabled.
